Academic Advising
Concentration advisors are available to sign declaration forms and concentration release forms. They can also assist in course elections and planning the student's concentration program. They can also answer questions about the possibilities for employment and/or future graduate or professional study with an undergraduate concentration in economics.
Scheduling an Appointment with an Advisor
Advising is by appointment only; there are no walk-in advising appointments available. Students can schedule an advising appointment online - Click here.

Declaring a Concentration or Minor
Students considering an economics concentration should begin learning about the requirements early in their sophomore year or before. The decision to concentrate in economics should be made by the end of the sophomore year. After satisfactorily completing all concentration prerequisites, students should meet with a concentration advisor to have a Concentration Declaration Form signed.
Senior Audit
Seniors planning to graduate must meet with a concentration advisor to discuss the progress in the concentration, confirm what concentration requirements still must be met, and fill out the Concentration Release Form. The Concentration Release Form should be submitted at least a month before the start of what you intend to be your final term.
Tutors
Looking for an Economics tutor? Economics Ph.D. students who are interested in tutoring can list their names on a bulletin board located beside Lorch 102.
